This one is for my sisters…

Just a small reminder wrapped in truth: no matter the man you pick, he will lead you. His leadership will pull you in one of two directions… toward clarity or toward confusion. Whatever way he guides you will shape not only the relationship, but the way you relate to yourself.

Clarity is a jewel. It sparkles even when it hurts your eyes. It doesn’t always give you what you want, but it always gives you what is true.

When a man leads you with clarity, he gifts you something invaluable: the ability to be responsible for your own decision. You may not like what is revealed, but once clarity arrives, the ball is in your court. That’s where accountability begins. That’s where you align your values, your boundaries, and your priorities with the picture you’ve been given.

Clarity is not an invitation to edit his truth to fit your fantasy. It’s not a puzzle to rearrange into your desired outcome. It stands as it is. And the beauty of a man’s love and respect for you is housed inside that transparency.

Love doesn’t hide. Respect doesn’t dance around questions. A man who is willing to be clear with you is a man who is willing to honor you.

But confusion… that’s a dangerous house to dwell in.

When a man leads you with confusion, every answer feels like a riddle. He answers your questions with more questions. He challenges your intelligence instead of honoring it. He stirs the fog until you can’t see what’s true anymore.

And suddenly, you’re not in love… you’re in an investigation. You’re a detective, piecing together scraps of behavior, replaying conversations, searching for the missing puzzle piece that will make sense of him.

Truth is, sometimes it’s not that you don’t understand him… it’s that his leadership has chosen not to be understood. The best understanding is always a clear one!

Confusion in love isn’t a sign of mystery. It’s often a mask for shame. A man who’d rather confuse you than be clear with you isn’t protecting your heart… he’s protecting his own ego. And while you’re running in circles, his leadership is turning you into a cog on a wheel, spinning but never moving forward.

My sisters, never forget this: a man’s leadership will either lead you to clarity or to confusion. One path births accountability. The other births exhaustion. And you are far too precious to spend your energy unraveling knots someone else tied.

We’re all responsible for ourselves… and that includes choosing leaders who lead us into light, not into fog.
