There’s nothing more captivating than seeing the melodic flow of a human being. We were created to be vibrant, creative, and energetic beings that vibrate off of each other’s rhythm. We possess an aura that is with us wherever we go. I believe The Most High God gave all of us a song and put it on our heart for us to sing and share with the world in our lifetime. A beautiful song that is your purpose and assignment. A song that everyone you encounter gets the opportunity to hear.
Now, imagine if you allowed someone who is annoyed by the joy of your song, press pause on your song, and then proceed to tell you to stop performing this song in their presence. Imagine that you do just what they say… and you forget how to sing your song because you’ve been on pause for so long. Then imagine… even after this person isn’t in your presence, that you still don’t sing your song. Lastly, imagine… even after this person isn’t in your life anymore, you still don’t sing your song.
Some of us don’t have to imagine this at all because we’re living it daily. That relationship that crippled you. That relationship that transformed your mind to identify all men or all women… with the character of the person you were in relationship with. Now we sing the blues nonstop but that’s not the song God gave you. Now we sing dark songs but you possess a song of light inside of you.
Who have you let press pause on your song? Have you stopped performing your song due to people paralyzing you with slander, disappointment, betrayal, heartbreak and deep hurt? I’ve been in this space a few times and learned that if I’m not vigilant, paralyzing pauses can be permanent. If you’re not aware, it will change your entire tune, remixing the song you were designed to sing.
Only “The Surgeon” can heal that pain and un-pause you, so that your song can be sung the way you were designed to sing it and reach the ears that it should. One of the most beautiful traits of great songs is the influences they possess. We need the influence of your song in the thread of this society we live in!
We’re all responsible for ourselves, as well as the ears we’re called to influence. I pray you give your pain to Him, who is able to heal all ailments under Heaven… and get back to singing your song!
